I recently visited Ogden Contemporary Arts for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Not only is the exhibition space beautiful but the work they are showing is challenging and thought provoking. The show I visited was Vida, Muerte, Justicia / Life, Death, Justice, an exhibition of twenty-four Latin American and Latinx contemporary artists whose work responds to relevant themes in relation to social and racial justice. The exhibited artists offer local, national and international perspectives through multiple disciplines including painting, sculpture, photography, installation, performance, digital art and more. The exhibition is curated by Jorge Rojas and María del Mar González-González and runs through November 27th so schedule a visit. You won’t be disappointed!
